OPEN METHOD

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

Available effort = hours per week × weeks. The plan starts with a half-hour preparation task, adds fixed-effort work items for your selected focus areas, and ends with a one-hour review. The main focus is ordered first. Work is allocated in that order until capacity is exhausted and may be split across weeks. Unallocated effort is shown explicitly. Effort estimates are fixed starter planning allowances, not quotes; this builder does not predict seconds saved. Current and target seconds, if entered, are recorded only as your goals.

These tools do not test a live site, access WordPress admin or install anything. They do not fetch, validate or confirm bookings, live prices or exact rates. They do not store data on a server. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.

Keep the result in context. This is a starting point for your own checks. Back up first, use staging, and review one reversible change at a time.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you go

Does the plan promise a faster score or load time?

No. It budgets review work. It cannot predict which changes will help your particular pages or how much time they will save.

What if a task does not fit in one week?

The allocation can split it across weeks. Any hours beyond total capacity remain explicitly unallocated; they are not quietly squeezed into the schedule.

Where do the effort estimates come from?

They are fixed starter allowances: preparation 0.5 h, images 2 h, plugins 1.5 h, caching 2 h, fonts 1 h, scripts 2 h, and final review 1 h. Adjust your real schedule if the work is more involved.

Can I hand this plan to a developer?

Yes. Download or print it with the assumptions. It is a planning brief, not permission for anyone to access or change your site.
