OPEN METHOD

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

A rule-based plan combines your selected site type, changing or personalised content, cache status, content-update rhythm, proposed lifetime and CDN status. Stores and personalised pages trigger exclusion reminders. A cache lifetime is your proposed setting, not a detected header or a recommended universal rate. No settings are read or changed.

These tools do not test a live site, access WordPress admin or install anything. They do not fetch, validate or confirm bookings, live prices or exact rates. They do not store data on a server. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.

Keep the result in context. This is a starting point for your own checks. Back up first, use staging, and review one reversible change at a time.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you go

Does this enable a cache or connect to a CDN?

No. It produces a manual checklist. It cannot see your host, plugins, response headers or CDN configuration.

Can I cache a cart or a signed-in page?

Do not apply blanket caching to personal, cart or checkout content. Check your platform and provider instructions and verify exclusions on staging.

Should I use several page-cache plugins?

Not by default. First identify the current owner of each layer. Overlapping full-page cache layers can complicate invalidation and diagnosis.

Is my proposed lifetime always safe?

No. Freshness needs and provider behaviour vary. Review purge rules and test the visitor experience after updates.
